Lombok & the Mandalika Street Circuit

Located just east of Bali, Lombok is a stunning tropical island known for its relaxed vibe, crystal-clear waters and friendly locals. It offers a quieter and more authentic experience compared to its famous neighbour – yet with equally beautiful beaches and world-class resorts.

The Mandalika region, on the island’s southern coast, was recently developed as Indonesia’s newest tourism and motorsport hub. The Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit opened in 2021 and quickly became one of the most picturesque tracks on the MotoGP calendar. With ocean views, palm trees and grandstands built into the landscape, it’s a truly unique setting for a Grand Prix weekend.

Beyond the racing, Lombok offers plenty to explore:

• Kuta Lombok – the main beach town with restaurants, bars and surf spots.

• Tanjung Aan & Selong Belanak – famous white-sand beaches ideal for swimming and sunsets.
