A must on any Grand Prix calendar: the legendary TT Assen, held on the last Sunday of June. Just before summer kicks off, the MotoGP riders return to Dutch soil for one of the most iconic races of the season. Since moving to Sunday racing in 2016, the event has sold out year after year.

TT CIRCUIT ASSEN
How to Get to the TT Circuit Assen
The legendary TT Circuit Assen is located just south-west of the town of Assen, in the province of Drenthe in the northern Netherlands. Known as "The Cathedral of Speed", the circuit is easily accessible by both car and public transport.
If you're traveling by air, the nearest international airport is Groningen Airport Eelde, located approximately 25 km (15 miles) to the north. From there, it’s a short drive or taxi ride to Assen. Alternatively, larger airports such as Amsterdam Schiphol and Bremen Airport (Germany) are within 2 to 2.5 hours by car.
Coming by car? The circuit is situated just off the A28 motorway, which runs between Amersfoort and Groningen. Simply follow the signs for Assen and then "TT Circuit" — the venue is clearly marked and well-organized for event traffic during the race weekend.
Assen itself has a train station with direct connections to major Dutch cities. During the MotoGP weekend, extra shuttle services and buses are usually available between the train station and the circuit, making it easy for visitors to get around.
Whether you’re staying in the city or nearby, getting to the TT Circuit is straightforward and part of the full race experience.
