Jerez de la Frontera is one of the most characteristic cities in Andalusia and the perfect setting for a Spanish MotoGP weekend. Famous for its sherry wines, elegant Andalusian horses and passionate flamenco culture, Jerez offers plenty to discover away from the circuit.
Wander through the historic centre, enjoy tapas on a sunny terrace or visit one of the city's traditional sherry bodegas. Jerez lies at the heart of the renowned Jerez-Xérès-Sherry wine region, where generations of winemakers have produced some of Spain's most famous wines.
Another symbol of the city is the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, where the famous Andalusian horses and centuries-old Spanish riding traditions come together.
And there is much more to explore. The historic city of Cádiz and the beaches of the Costa de la Luz are within easy reach, while spectacular Seville is approximately 80 kilometres away.
