How to reach the Sachsenring – MotoGP Germany 2026
The Sachsenring Circuit is located in the town of Hohenstein-Ernstthal, in the Saxony region of eastern Germany. It’s well connected and easy to reach whether you're flying, driving or travelling by train.

Dresden Airport – approx. 100 km

Erfurt Airport – approx. 150 km
Travelling by car?
From Dresden, take the A4 Autobahn towards Erfurt and exit at Wüstenbrand. From there, follow the S242 towards Oberlungwitz, then continue via the B173 to Hohenstein-Ernstthal and follow the signs to the circuit.
From Leipzig/Halle, drive via the A14 towards Dresden, then switch at the Nossen Interchange to the A4 direction Erfurt, and follow the same route as above.
By train:
Regular train connections run from major cities like Berlin directly to the region. The nearest station is Hohenstein-Ernstthal, which is just a 10-minute walk from the Sachsenring circuit. Ideal if you're combining your visit with a city break!
