How does SportTravel handle your data

Article 1 General

 

1.1 This privacy policy specifies our policy regarding the personal data of users/visitors to the website.

1.2 If a user places an order, SportTravel requires your name, address, passport data, e-mail address, delivery address and payment details in order to complete the order and inform you of the progress.

 

Article 2 Collection and use of personal data

2.1 SportTravel stores the user's personal data whenever a user places an order. The personal data will only be used for processing this order and for the implementation of the agreement.

2.2 Whenever a user contacts sportTravel with a request for information or an offer, SportTravel processes the personal data in order to fulfil this request or to handle the offer.

2.3 If the user provides explicit consent, SportTravel uses the personal data to inform the user about the development of the website and about special offers and promotions in the form of a newsletter. The newsletter contains a link that allows you to unsubscribe from the newsletter.

 

Article 3 Transfer to third parties

3.1 SportTravel will not sell users’ personal data to third parties and will only provide this data to third parties who are involved in processing the order and the agreement. Our employees and third parties who we bring in are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of the data.

SportTravel has no influence on this.

Article 5 Social media

5.1 There are buttons on the website that allow users to interactively use the website through Twitter and Facebook. These buttons are implemented through code that is provided by Facebook and Twitter themselves. This code places a cookie, among other things (Article 4).

5.2 Please read the respective privacy policies of Facebook and Twitter (which may change on a regular basis) in order to see what they do with your personal data that they process with this code.

 

Article 6 Alteration/removal of personal data

6.1 Users have the right to view, amend or supplement their personal data, to demand the removal and blocking of their personal data, in accordance with the provisions of the data protection act.

Article 7 Retention period

7.1 SportTravel stores personal data for a period of up to 24 months after the date of the users last visit to the website.

7.2 SportTravel s is entitled to retain personal data for a longer period of time than the term stated in Article 7.1 if this is based on a legal requirement.

 

Article 8 Security

8.1 SportTravel will handle personal data with the utmost care. One of the most modern techniques is used each time an order is placed; the Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Users’ data shall be protected and kept confidential at all times.

 

Article 9 Changes to the privacy policy

9.1 SportTravel has the right to change this privacy policy.

9.2 If SportTravel should decide to change the privacy policy, then the changes will be incorporated in this privacy policy immediately. Grand Prix Tours will inform users about any changes with a message on the website for a period of three months.
