For Dutch customers - When you pay with Dutch iDEAL it’s FREE. So when you place an order, and then choose the iDEAL payment method then you will be instantly forwarded to the secure environment of your own Dutch bank. Within this secure environment, you can choose from the following banks: Rabobank, ABN AMRO, ING, Friesland Bank, Fortis, SNS Bank, Triodos Bank, SNS Bank Region, ASN Bank.
For credit card payments - At this moment we accept VISA and MASTERCARD via the Merchant bank: Multisafepay. You do not need to register with this merchant and you can use your AMEX, VISA or MASTERCARD directly. If you have a Paypal account, you also use this method of payment. You will receive the booking confirmation via SportTravel.
Costs for credit card payment. The credit card companies charges a 2.5% handling-fee for online payment. You can by-pass this when you can use a debit or bankcard or when you click on invoice.
For your payment security - We use the toughtest SSL technology for our connections so our clients can be ensured that they will pay in a secure environment The secure environment is indicated by HTTPS in the shop and the final (logo) in the green address bar.
Payment by invoice - With exception of ticket-only-bookings, you can also choose to first receive an invoice for the package chosen (in pdf by mail) which you can than settle by banktransfer.
Deposit payments - When you purchase a package a couple of months before the event date, a 25% deposit will secure your booking. Restpayment is required at 8 weeks prior the event.
Booking guarantee - For making safe bookings with SportTravel in the future, another good news is, that all paid funds for -new- package reservations (hotel & ticket packages) will be put in a guarantee fund (garantiefonds in Dutch).
By this your payment is secured in case SportTravel might end up in financial problems. The contribution will be € 7,50 per person which will automatically be charged on your reservation and mentioned on your invoice.
